Innovative partnership will improve industry recycling rates and support France’s transition towards a circular economy

Innovation, including plant automation and digitisation, is a key topic at next week’s prestigious Salon Solucir event (May 28th-29th), where NextWaste executives will collaborate with other industry leaders to identify and support local solutions to establish and develop the circular economy.

Through this pioneering collaboration, NextWaste will leverage Greyparrot's AI waste analytics to help customers use data-driven insights to improve waste sorting and ensure maximum resource recovery. Greyparrot’s unmatched AI capabilities provide 100% visibility into waste composition, helping MRFs (material recovery facilities) unlock a new, more intelligent level of insight about waste that Greyparrot calls waste intelligence. The partnership marks NextWaste’s latest move to drive eco-innovation and sustainability in the French waste management sector and accelerate France's achievement of sustainability goals.

This partnership comes at a critical time in France’s move toward a circular economy.  With ambitious targets to increase waste recycling rates to 65% by 2025, the French government is taking a multi-pronged approach to regulation, with significant implications for the waste management industry.
